Lake Sumter Honor Choir
Date of event this school year:Thursday & Friday, February 27 & 28, 2025Location: Compass Life Church in TavaresBES will provide a van for transporting the students to and from the rehearsal and the concert.Auditions: November 2024. Thursday, February 27, 2025 2:45-ish Leave BES via SCSB Van
Students will stay at BES afterschool
3:30 – 4:30 Registration
4:30 – 7:30 Rehearsal, with snack provided (about halfway through the rehearsal) please provide a small snack after school, if needed.
7:30 BES students will return to BES via SCSB Van for parent pick up
Friday, February 28, 2025 12noon Leave BES via SCSB Van
12:30 – 1:00 Arrival/Check-In with Teachers (Students should be in black pants, black socks, and black shoes
1:00 – 4:30 Rehearsal begins PROMPTLY at 1:00. Please be on time. Students should eat a filling lunch prior to rehearsal.
4:30 – 5:45 Dinner Break (T-shirts will be given out after dinner to wear at the concert)
5:45 – 6:30 Sound Check, Warm-Up, Group Photo
All chaperones/guests will be asked to leave and wait in the foyer. All student belongings must be removed from the concert hall.
6:30 Doors will open for parents, friends, family members
7:00 – 7:30 Concert
7:30 Parents take their child home after the concert

This event will be held at the South Sumter High School Gymnatorium on Friday, March 28, 2025. It should start at 6:30 pm. The event is free to all. Please bring your family, friends, and neighbors to see and hear our students make music. Along with the musicians, student artists from SSHS, SSMS, and WMHS will have their work on display. It will be a night for The Arts!
Earthday at CEMEX in Center Hill
The Treble Makers will be performing at the Earthday event on Saturday, April 5, 2025. The event will be held at the CEMEX Mine in Center Hill.
