Mr. Krakoff
Mr. Krakoff joined Wildwood Middle High School as an ELA teacher before the 2024-2025 school year, entering his 26th year in public education. Mr. Krakoff brings nine years of experience as a high school ELA teacher as well as 16 years as a school administrator. A Pittsburgh native, Mr. Krakoff has served in schools for 13 years in Pennsylvania and 12 in Florida, including six at The Villages Charter School. Mr. Krakoff has served as a school administrator at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, as a principal or assistant principal. In addition, Mr. Krakoff has joined the Wildwood boys’ varsity basketball coaching staff bringing 17 years of varsity basketball coaching experience to our Wildcats’ program. As a head coach, Coach Krakoff guided three different high schools to a total of five state playoff appearances, earned four coach of the year awards, and sent 17 players on to college basketball careers. As head coach of the Villages High School boys’ varsity basketball team, Coach Krakoff guided the Buffalo to the first two district championships in school history in 2013 and 2014. Mr. Krakoff lives in Middleton with his wife, Jenny, stepsons Jacob and Aaron, and their dogs, Sophie and Cash. Coach Krakoff also has three sons, Levi, Elijah, and Luke, and a daughter, Lydia. Coach Krakoff earned his master of arts in teaching degree and principal certification from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and his Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from West Virginia University.
