A five week study that included chapter tests, a small group study on a main character, a class project of the mural, a video book review with a script and many other tasks along the way. The reviews were typically positive and recommended this classic novel for others in the future. This crew of 9th graders will always be in the know when it comes to Ponyboy, Johnny and Darry!  With all this hard work over the course of the month, I offered a monetary award for anyone who turned all their work in complete and on time! Their name went in a hat,and one was drawn... and Austin Wood was the winner of the Walmart giftcard!!
