Eleanor Roosevelt- a woman who changed history

My students this month focused on Women who changed history. A short study was done on Eleanor Roosevelt. As an extended activity, the students were asked to write a letter or short note to her. They could share why they were impressed with her, her choices, her actions, her stand on a topic- any of these or others. They wrote such great letters. Many of them brought tears to my eyes and their words were just so kind. I have loved this addition into my curriculum  this year.
