Wrap up 2021-2022
-
I have learned so much this year. With 2 new curriculums and a new schedule that included seeing some of the same students twice a day, this was a year of new experiences and challenges. I like to think we came out all better. We studied and learned an exuberant amount of information from Oedipus to Romeo, from Madoff's Ponzi scheme to brilliant minds like Temple Grandin, from poems to essays, from arguments being refuted in a Socratic seminar to falling in love with a few books...yes, we came out better.
This was a year where I pushed a little harder, expected a bit much at times, had a cafe in my classroom for a masterful read, and finished with all passing grades for my students. I would say it was a good one.
One of the best parts were the kind notes from students. I hope they treasure the kind words they shared as much as I will.
